Jo, I haven't got round to it yet, thanks though - have been through in beautiful lovely Hull (sorry Rosie! - moved to Scarborough to go to uni and every time we go back there seem to be more shops closed down along Holderness Road, plus we've lost a few people including my mum in the last few years so it seems we're in Hull for funerals quite a lot - also used to get a lot of grief from nasty little teens round where I lived! ) - will PM you when I know what I mean to say iykwim, need to think it out. -get another pencil and stick them both up your nose and say 'wibble'

-draw smiley faces in blu-tack

-drill through an octagonal piece of card to make a spinner

-drumsticks on a Pringles tube

-tap the Master's drum rhythm on the dining room table (we do this one...dum-dum-dum-dum! dum-dum-dum-dum!

-insert into styrofoam ball, draw face on ball, give silly voice and waggle at child in comical way

-throw at husband instead of the larger, heavier object you really wanted to throw

-do the 'rubber pencil' trick where you wobble the pencil loosely and it weirdly looks like it's made of rubber

...now I'll dream about pencils won't I cos I'm off to bed night all, hugs xx

jumbo pencil - wedge between jaws of a ferocious crocodile

stick photos on them and make puppets.
stick a couple in lump of plasticine and use for storing rings.
tie a piece of fishing line to it, attach some bait. hey presto a fishing rod.
either end of a long piece of paper to make a scroll
