Do you think it is possible to get earache caused by neck and shoulder pain rather than earche caused by a cold/infection??“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

Is that what you feel like, or is it OH? Wouldn't have thought so; your ears are linked to your throat etc which tends to get infections and not pain from use, trapped nerves etc. Although I have known someone who got earache so bad that it moved into their shoulders and neck; it definitely started in her ear though xxI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0

Thanks Paula.
It seems it can work both ways. neck pain can cause refered pain in the ear and earache can cause neck pain.Never knew that before
Referred Ear Pain
The ear has a rich nerve supply from multiple nerves. The nerves that supply the ear also supply the teeth, tonsils, jaw and neck. Hence problems in these head and neck areas can cause ear pain without any problems in the ear.“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
