Yeah, Love my SLR - I got my baby (it is my baby) from Ebay second hand canon - it is fantastic. Came with lenses and all you can get a great one off of ebay. What is your price range and I will see if I can pull together a list of good cameras for you

I have a Nikon D40 (now replaced with the D50). It's the entry level Nikon and I love it. Did wedding photos with it this w/e gone and they look great. Will post a pic of DD doing her violin playing at it later.

Off to get DD and break the news - wish me luck.

price range is.......zero!!! Well as little as possible.... I found this one...

but my main need is for product photos so the macro needs to be pretty !!!!!! hot but for pennies!!! Oh and I can point the camera at something and press a button, that is about the extent of my photography skills!!

Babymoo - to say I love your blog sounds wrong but it is amazing and written in a way that helps the reader to go through it with you.
It is just the right combination of emotion and fact telling. We can feel your pain but it is not unbearable to read because of how you put it across. I don't mean that you belittle what you have been through but the tone you use makes it easier for us to hear what you are saying.
I have nothing but admiration for you and I believe that you will find a way through to a life that you can be happy with. Your spirit shines through in your writing.
I can't even imagine what it has been like for you but I am privileged that you have shared so much with us. I find it hard to write an actual comment on the blog because it all seems beyond words or trite. But I do read it and hope your book goes well.
