haha, have a good day Paula!

Mambury, think I got lucky, with DD1, 7lb1 and the midwife said my bump was so small, I would be lucky is she was 5lb. DD2, however, I looked like I was having twins! Got away without stretch marks, only have a few little ones, but have a good handful of wrinkly skin, that as my friend very nicely pointed out, looks like a cats @rse! You have my respect, with 2 that size btw! Blimey!

Have told OH when we are rich, he can buy me a new pair of boobs and a tummy tuck!

I am who I am, wrinkles and all, even though I joke about it, I am happy with that, I never diet and don't think the gym will make me happier, we are only given 1 life and whats the point is being beautiful and unhappy? I would rather be me and spend my spare time enjoying life.

Great attitude, MAP. We come in all shapes and sizes. I'm barely 7st and when you're naturally skinny, you get lots of nasty comments about looking like a 12 year old boy, and how real women have boobs. Well stuff it. This is me, I can't gain weight, and I've learned to accept my body. Sadly, other people try to make me feel bad. Why oh why ...well, their problem.
  • In my experience, people are only derogatory towards others appearances to try and make themselves feel better about their own insecurities. B0llocks to the lot of them is what I say!

Afternoon all. I have cleaned the bathrooms this morning, what a horrible job, lunch is on and we are off out this afternoon, so have a great day everyone.

Was texting OH, who went to bed early at midnight because he was tired, but text me until 4am. Normal time. Then Jasper woke up at 5, but it was actually 6, cuz of the stupid clocks. So I got an hours sleep. Couldn't understand what he wanted, so let him out, but he pawed at me everytime I tried to go back to sleep. Played with him until 7.30, and then fed him, which he turned his nose up at.
Since then, he won't let me lie down. He cries if I do, and paws me, then when I sit up he's happy and will settle down.
He has just eaten his breakfast now, so maybe he will go to sleep? Too late for me though, it'll ruin my sleeping habits even more if I do...

What a day :( Still, OH thinks he'll be back at around 6ish, and I can't wait :)

God, Saucy, you and I couldn't be more different LOL. I absolutely adore my alternate Thursday evenings when DD and DH go out and I have the house all nice and peaceful to myself. They haven't been able to go the last few weeks as DD has had lots of after school stuff and I am going nuts!!! They walk into town together occasionally at weekends and I want to lock and bar the door to keep my me-time going longer!

I've been lurking but not posting last few days. Thursday I could feel the dreaded depressive feelings coming back and then realised that I've had a helluva week and just needed to be nice to myself for a few days. I looked through some cat pics and had a good howl and feel better. I slept in (way in) this morning and am still not out of my dressing gown LOL, so I'm just being a bit self-indulgent. Next doors girls are looking after the remaining mog, and I've asked them to fuss her a bit in case she gets lonely. She was looking for her sister on Tuesday night, which was sad, going round all the places she used to sit.

We go off on hols Tuesday (going down to stay at the airport tomorrow night) so I won't be around for a week. We have snagged a cheapy bucket shop to Tenerife, and I'm looking forward to seeing the sights and DD is looking forward to a pool and a tan. (What can I say, she's 12. I put factor 30 on her and she still tans, so I figure I've done what I can!)

Hopefully I'll be reinvigorated when we come back and ready for the rest of the challenge.

Hey all, i want to sell my bags on amazon. Am having trouble listing them. Is there a guide anywhere that can show me how to list things?

I keep finding a bag on amazon and then i click on sell one like this which is wrong lol

    Thanks
  • I had noticed you'd been gone, but I'm glad you are feeling okay! Enjoy Tenerife...I'd love to be able to wear factor 30 but I burn straight through it. OH on the other hand tans gorgeously, and instantly, and will look like a national after a day in Spain. And well done for pampering yourself, you deserve it!

Have you noticed the commission riot on Folksy?

I hadn't TBH, but then I don't go on the boards there. Since it seems to be mostly seller-to-seller sales ATM I might sell more if I did but there are only so many hours in the day. They did always say they planned to charge commission, though, so no surprise there.

When I'm back I'll try putting some stuff on that stay at home mum site someone posted, where IIRC there is 5% commission but no listing fee, so if you sell nowt you pay nowt. Of course I could have totally misremembered that! I haven't had so much as a nibble on Misi, so that shop is living on borrowed time.

Still think I'll mostly sell at craft fairs though.
