    I used to use a very fine fishing line, as it is stronger and seems to stand up to the sharper edges.....only a suggestion of course!

    and lots of repeat business for new charms.
    design merkin with place/ places to attach charm/s.
    how about 2 horizontal attachment loops/places and then larger charms/ designs that have 2 points of attachment at the top of the charm so can have large charm /design to attach.

    Doh how stupid am I ....I make garter charms already...all I need is a loop of fine ribbon and a garter charm would hook on to that!!

    You lot are bloody genuises!!!....scurrys off to make a prototype......
