    Greetings merkin lovers :-)

I'm on the hunt for some large satin ribbon bows-you know like the ones you get on the posh knickers that tie at the sides? thought a large blue one would be lovely on the front of the merky werky but cant find them? i know I could tie them myself but then you get the frayed ribbon ends. also was thinking of crystal flowers but not sure if crystal is the right material really..bit scratchy??!! so am a bit stuck on the decoration front. I've bought some of those little ribbon roses but need some more ideas.

Wouldn't worry about the crystals MM remember that one that was completely covered in red? jewels/beads of some sort with the matching pasties?

True-hadnt thought of that. Am still having trouble sewing them on though-need some sort of thread that wont break on the edges of the crystals...or crystal flowers already made up...but cant find them..well not ones that look nice anyway..
  • Hi everyone.
I've read back from page 81, but I was really on popping in to say Hi for today.

Stressful day, and all alone :( Missing OH millions, and freezing cold, didn't get to go to the hospital, it just wasn't logistically possible. Suffering now, but trying to calm down, relax and maybe craft something useful.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi :)

Mabel this might not be feasible but what about making some kind of flat design with jewellery wire and the crystals and then attaching that so you don't have to sew through the crystals but maybe over the wire???
    Or use embroidery thread?
might not be good ideas but just my initial thoughts.
