Mad at myself AND Travelodge

I complained to travelodge after a recent terrible stay and got no where. I had an email response to say that the manager of the hotel would call me but no one ever called. I emailed again numerous times but didnt get anything other than the standard "thank you for your email" responses. Awful customer service.

I hope you do get a nice hotel room somewhere else for the night you wanted.

You could always try re-selling your booking on Gumtree for the night you don't want?

I did think of this when I was unable to return mine. However then thought what would happen if the buyers then caused some sort of damage to the room. Who would Travellodge come for.
