Claire, I'm impressed with what your DH husband's done and long may it continue.
Scabby turtles, what are they. [insert confused smile!]
Thank you for your get well wishes, a day of veging on the sofa and having lots of naps seems to be doing the trick.

Scabby turtles are basically stuffed potatoes.
take a bunch of potatoes, rub in olive oil and bake them until soft.
while hot, scoop out the potato and set the skins aside.
Mix potato with sauteed onions, mushrooms and bacon, chop up some boiled eggs, add cheese and mix the whole lot up adding black pepper.
Scoop the mixture back into the skins and sprinkle more cheese on top then bake for approx 20 mins.
You can change the fillings according to what you have in your fridge, cupboard, or leftovers etc...
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Yay for scabby turtles.....it's become a firm favourite here BOS.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
Sounds well lush Linda. I will have to give them a go one night me thinks.
