Had a fab morning

Been shopping, kids tea now cooking so hopefully I can chill out with a nice beer (or two

NPM - I love those shoes. Those are the sort I like to go out dancing in and then wonder why my feet feel crippled after about 4 hours LOL! I can't wait for all these weddings to be taking place so I can nag about seeing the wedding pics
joyfull - that's a lovely post
Hope you can stick around the daily thread. I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Good evening all, well the news about big Frank is all good at the moment my DD and OH have just got back from London and said he is sitting up and looking quite cheerful, although not happy that he will have to cut back on his chocolate ect (he does have a sweet tooth and has been told he will have to go to a special heart dietician in a few weeks time )
I have made the smoked Mackerel pate and its looking really good and have got it in the fridge getting really cool.
I have just put a chicken breast wrapped in bacon into the remoska for dinner tonight which I will have with salad and new potatoes.
Rather a nasty looking night at the moment raining and very damp, glad I am indoors in the warm. Not much on t.v. tonight so I think I will have the wireless on and do some knitting.Hope everyone has had a good day
Cheers JackieO xx0 -
Had a great MS day today. DH has this very important meeting on Friday as you know, but we suddenly realised he didn't have a suit and this is definitely a suit kind of meeting so nipped up to TK's this morning and got a fabulous bargain. Gorgeous designer suit should have been £170 down to £60 and a lovely silk tie reduced from £25 to £4.00. Hopeully it will be a good investment. Then nipped in Mr S's next door and bought a scratchcard with a £1 and won an tenner so the suit was even cheaper:j
Just to add he does look absolutley gorgeous , I would give him the contract and anything else he asked for

Evening peeps
Just managed to grab a bit of time to catch up ..........I have been so busy today I am cream crackered.
Had to pick up car because the work was finished and MOT'd:) The garage we use are good - and when I saw the list of problems they fixed, the cost seems more than reasonable.
Sorted through the cupboards and freezers and have plenty of food in them so just basics to get and it will last a good couple of month's so that will help.
Washing Machine has been going non stop all day and I have had to use TD because it has been raining on and off all day and the airers were full
Dinner done and washing up done so it is me time now :rotfl:
Take care I am off for a nice shower and a glass or three of bacardi :beer:Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Evening all
Ivyleaf - we have had Charlie for a week now. He is just 9 weeks old now and is very, very playful. He is a lovely little dog though. DF's mum has Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and secondaries in her stomach and chest so not looking good at all, she has been critical since her last course of chemo.
NPM oh my goodness those shoes are fabulous. Even in my youth I could never wear them as high as that as I [STRIKE]am[/STRIKE] used to be quite tall and would tower above all my friends but seem so have shrunk since reaching 50 lol!!!:rotfl:
Have decided to upgrade our caravan and have found a nice one today. we bought our first one last year and just bought a cheap old one to see if we liked caravaning before we invested much money. Well we loved it and so decided to upgrade (slightly - going to work our way up hopefully!) Anyway after a year of caravaning we have traded the old one in and only lost £100 on the value since we bought it so am well pleased. We have had some lovely weekends and holidays for a little money! Got to be MS if not OS.:D
Wm on at the moment, should have done it earlier today but it has poured down all day and hopefully tomorrow is suposed to be a better day for drying.
Enjoy your evening all
x"Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you are up to........"
Dieting ........... is no piece of cake!!!!:D

Hello everyone! There's a couple of names there that I recognise - Pink-winged and JackieO for starters.
It's been a couple of years since I was here last - crikey but time flies!
In the meantime, we've moved to Dorset from Kent and have just about got our feet settled under the table now.
I won't rabbit on too much now, as it's late to be adding to the Daily thread, but just wanted to say hello.
Love
Jenny PoshPaws:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:Weight loss since 2 March 10 : 13lbs0 -
Nic, I am 5ft 9 lol so will prob tower over most people but I don`t care:rotfl:, I was determined to have those shoes.

Hi Everyone,
I am feeling very proud of myself as I have bitten the bullet and requested a business link adviser to call me on Monday to find out about starting my make-up artist business :j.
I am really missing not having any interent connection. We are getting our telephone line installed on Tuesday but it could be up to 14 days before we are connected to the net.
Feeling a bit anxious that my house is a bit messy, only been living in it three weeks so can I still use that as an excuse.
I don't know anyone on here properly yet, but positive thoughts going out to all who need them.
I am feeling a bit cross with myself as I have a congential spine defect (scoliosis and lordosis), I am supposed to go to the gym regularly to strengthen my core and back muscles as well as general fitness and paid for 4 personal training sessions before Christmas and I haven't been once this year!
I am at work at the mo, hence being able to access the internet :AHmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!0 -
