And, of course, there are 2 Bank Holidays in May.... which means more beer festivals:j:beer::j
I'm nearly at the end of the washing up hillock and he's gone in search of cheap Easter Eggs. It appears there is some sort of work going to take place on the computer in the living room, the little one that doubles as the DVD and Blu Ray player. That gives me space in here - the "study" - to have a Really Good Clean on the shelves by the window to get rid of any remaining rubble from the rewire.
And I must clean this keyboard, I think something under the keys is planning to evolve and go and audition for Doctor Who:eek:

Change of plan here, weather is nicer than forecast, but OH needs to catch up with work, so long exploring walk will be a high speed short one later.
Sounds like your plans are working well Hypno0 -
The existing ironing pile has been demolished......of course there will be more as the day goes on, as I am also working through the piles of washing, but it is definitely heading in the right direction.
I've also sorted out all the paperwork that has been gathering over the last three months relating to the house/mortgage/life insurance etc. I have made a list of box files that I will need (I have some, but I will need more) in order to keep everything in order......
There are, of course, many boxes/piles/files of paperwork throughout the house/cabin/loft that still need to be sorted, but it is definitely a start.
Just having coffee now, and about to put another load in the wash.....then will decide on what to do next.....probably running the hoover around downstairs.
Oh, and I have bought 4 work blouses from TM Lewin - they are doing any 4 for £90 inc delivery.....plus 10% cashback which has already tracked. So that element of my capsule wardrobe has now been sorted.....four different styles, all of which can be worn for work or for dinners out etc. A couple of them will go with a decent pair of jeans too, so I reckon I have got plenty out of this month's "clothing" budget :T Quidco has already tracked, too, so all good there.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Well done on the new additions to the capsule wardrobe Hypno. I must admit with OH working, I'm in an internet browsing mood today, which is slightly dangerous0

I went into the store and wanted to buy them there, but the 10% quidco money was enough to make me walk away from the store!
I do like Lewins - they are a bit more expensive than many, but well made, and classic, so they will last me a good while. And of course, at that price, it actually works out at £20 per shirt which is not too bad really!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Has the handbag been reduced any more?0
-
Sadly not - and my budget is now all gone for the moment anyway.......I might treat myself when my bonus comes through in a few weeks time. That way, I can buy it without guilt. Almost all my bonus will be going to pay Mum back, but I reckon there will be enough for a bit of classic handbag buying tooSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Oh, and my "capsule wardrobe" list does make mention of the matching laptop bag too :whistle::whistle:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Hypno, thats a really good buy - and 10% of £90 is certainly worth having, of course it is.... and I'm glad for you that there'll be a little bit left over from the bonus for some classic-handbag buying :beer:2023: the year I get to buy a car0
