Sounds like another productive day, so I'm sure you deserve to put your feet up for an hour. Do you have a cheeky Easter Egg to nibble on? :p

Indeed I do - it is in the fridge :D

I was quite ashamed as I went through my drawers (literally)......I have (had) bras that don't give any support, some that had only one underwire (the other obviously in my washing machine drum), and some that were that dubious shade of "ecru" :o

I know that it will cost to get replacements, but it really is becoming a necessity! I would hate to think how old some of that stuff is :o:o:o

I thought the stuff I'd brought out with me was OK, but the combination of losing weight, and the washing m/c and dryer here being quite vicious has killed a lot of it off.

Admittedly I used to be an m&s regular for undies, but the stuff doesn't seem to be as good as it used to be, and definitely doesn't last as long.

So there will be an urgent shopping trip when I get back, just hope enough of the remainder last until I get back.

If sports bra's are on your list, I normally try ebay for the Shock Absorber ones, but when they've got them in TKMaxx normally has them cheaper, so I buy them if I see them there.

Sports bras are the one type I am ok with.....partly because I am not putting too much effort into sport right now :o

We have a couple of good department stores in the City with good underwear departments, so I will go and start looking and pricing up.....

Just sold something on Amazon - should be £7+ after postage, so that is worth a walk to the post office tomorrow!

Just realised with the sports bras, I do tend to hand wash through after each wear, maybe that helps them last longer.

If anyone thinks for one moment that I will stand and handwash everything......well.......:rotfl:

Well I think I've got galluping lazyitis combined with a severe case of C.B.A.ness. At least you have reason for being tired and a room to be proud of after all your hard work this weekend.

    Not everything :rotfl::rotfl:

I think I'd need committing if I did that normally :rotfl::rotfl:

But it may be worth it if you invest in some nice special ones, let the cheaper basics go through the washing machine.

I think I treat sports bras a bit like swimsuits, where after a swim you need to rinse to keep them OK, so the sports bras are the same. Not a thorough wash, more a quick rinse and hang over something in the bathroom.

Just think how lovely it will be when the housekeeper does the handwashing after she has finished the washing and cleaning and just before preparing dinner. OK I'll stop fantasying now.

Thinking about it, the rinsing sports bras is as much to do with not facing wearing them again without doing something, especially if you've been doing aerobics!!! Most people don't do washloads everyday, so for me it was probably an automatic solution, to only having a few.

The side benefit was them last longer.
