Good luck for it, Hypno, but with all the running and shredding you've been doing, I'm sure you'll be there.

Thanks....will be very happy if it makes an appearance, then the hard work will be staying under 10.....
Nothing to report in banking - the mortgage and a loan come out in the next few days so I can amend my signature then, but other than that, it is just a case of holding on in there!

Hi Hypno
My weekly trip out of lurkdom!
Sorry to hear about your tragic news this week. (Hugs).
The photo shoot sounded fab, a bit of a "pick me up" for you hopefully.
I have followed your lead and ordered "the shred." Hopefully it will not collect dust in my cupboard! I am still walking and attending weight watchers. (Free weigh in as I help out), but am finding a problem with emotional eating, especially at night.:o:eek: Any tips?
Anyway good luck for today and hope your weigh in is at the magic number. The past is over & done & cannot be changed. This is the only moment we can experience - Louise Hay"You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection."-- Buddha0 -
Emotional eating is my big problem too, and I wish I had the answers - the only thing I am learning is that I have to let the crappy days happen, then draw a line underneath and get tracking again within a couple of days. If I don't track, I go waaaaay off course. I am learning to allow myself a couple of days of pigging out, then back to the tracker where the feeling of gaining control kicks back in and that, in turn, helps with the emotional eating, if that makes sense!
So, I just crept in under the 10st today and got to 9st 13.5 lbs :j:j:j which is what I was aiming for. Now I need to stay there, so will be trying to lose a little more to give me that cushion, before I start the maintenance programme.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Great that you achieved your goal today well done.
As you have been running that will be causing you to weigh more due to the muscle though, is that right? So you've done well to do the running and still show the number 9 on the scales. Well that is if I am correct in my thinking??!!0 -
Yes, I think you are right, KM. I lost a pound and a half this week, but part of me was saying that after the amount of exercise I had done, as well as staying within points, I should have lost at least double that!
But of course, the truth is that muscle weighs more, and so rather than be disappointed that I did not lose more weight, I have to convince myself that I am getting leaner and fitter now, rather than lighter!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
