It does sound intriguing, but I am so good at buying exercise DVDs and watching them with a cuppa! So best save my money :D

I did a fitness session today - about 25 minutes of general jumping around to music - I was tired after it as it was slightly more energetic than usual - but when I looked around the room many of the staff half my age had given up. Before anyone gets ideas of being impressed by this...... I'd better own up and say it was aimed at 3 and 4 year olds :o Star jumps - twists - spotty dog jumps......the lot - all good fun - but really made me see how unfit I am :p MUST do something about this

As anyone who has read my diaries for any length of time will know, apart from the marathon training, I am Queen of starting an exercise programme with good intentions, and lasting about as long as it takes me to make my next cup of coffee!

So, I am very pleased that I have gotten into the Shred and back into my running these last few days. Long may it last!

Milann, your exercise session sounds like fun!!

Well, you've not done too badly with the weight loss, so I reckon you just have to find an exercise you like.
There's no harm in moving from yoga to running to shred - with a bit of chillaxing in between - sounds quite healthy to me!

Me too. I figure out all my problems when I run. Then I come home all clear headed and relay everything I've decided to DH. He usually disagrees, so then there's another problem to unravel for the next run! :rotfl:

Am looking forward to my path to fitness and health but will have to start slowly....but baby steps will get me there in the end.

I'm a low blood pressure/trickle of blood type too.....have been sent home from blood donors more times than I have successfully donated. If they get a teaspoonful they are lucky, which is a shame because I reckon it is one of the best things a person can do, and for no cost too.

I am about 50 pages back so am just going to start quoting when i see something interesting or else i am never going to remember it all

One of the most annoying things about nz is that because i have lived in UK for more than 6 months, in the 80's and early 90's (well yes of course i was in school then) I can't donate cos they are worried about the CJD risk.
