    Hi GTD, nice to see you! Hope things are good for you.

    Pooky, I have everything crossed that you are DF by November! I will be happy enough to celebrate someone else's DFD instead of my own!

    I've had a NSD, and was good and took lunch in from home. I am aiming throughout June to have a "no bought lunch" month. I reckon it will help my finances and will help with keeping on track with the diet too.

    I've done my balance transfer from Virgin, so that is another job done - hard to believe that it is only a little while since I couldn't get any reasonable rates, now I can BT with the best of 'em!

    Pickle, don't worry - the party will happen, and the invites will be flying around as soon as the date is known - no need to buy a new frock just yet, though, because I still have £10k to find over the coming months.....

    El, it will be lovely to choose a summer holiday without worrying about the cost. That has been a long time coming!

    But I've got to get there first - £10k is a lot to find, and as we all know, life has a habit of throwing curveballs so I am not going to get too complacent about it all just yet.

    Yes, it's a lot, but in comparison to what you have had to find, it's barely more than short change! ;)

    It should be a pj party - I've more choice in the pj drawer than I do in the wardrobe.

    Actually that's quite a sad thing to admit to.
