The garden is really starting to take shape now......still some way to go, and it will have taken all my savings to do it by the time it has finished, but it really does start to make a difference to the look of the house. And they are doing a thorough job and making it lower maintenance for me, which is fab.

No time for dinner, just a quick turnaround and back out.....will get something to eat when I get home at 9ish, but I am staaaarving!

DDFW - good luck with the continued decluttering.

When I was doing lots of running I certainly changed shape, and became leaner, but I didn't actually show that on the scales - losing about 1lb in total over the 8 months of training! I had to accept that I was just getting fitter, and looking better so that was good enough.

Sadly, though, when I stopped running, I also put on a stone and a half....hmm...run run run, and lose a lb. Stop running and put on 21lb :o

Anyway, I am now back to the weight that I was when I was at my fittest, although I am certainly not capable of running 26 miles now! I am walking more rather than running at the mo, which helps the weight loss I am sure. I will be upping the running in the foreseeable future, and it will be interesting to see what effect it has this time round!

Weight loss fantastic again. I've failed miserably - I ate soooooo much cake over weekend.... but it was rather good. I've always thought (being an old meanie LOL) paying for the class might be a waste of money but it certainly seems to pay in your case.

Hopefully I will soon be at goal so I can stop paying the class fee! I will still need the discipline of weekly weigh in, though, so will still go along every Weds.

Thanks for the advice hypno - just cleared out another 2 tops - so slowly but surely i will get there :D but no energy to do any more just now. I hope I can get the time to exercise - I thought about getting one of those huge exercise ball things to help with core strength - I thought whilst i'm 'relaxing' with 30mins tv i can sit on that and actually be exercising in a way - using stomach muscles to maintain posture. :rotfl:I have considered various diets but the budget doesn't extend that far and to be honest I know once i've made the decision to lose weight i'll work at it and get results - unless its confirmed that it is connected to whats making me ill and then i'll just rely on getting better and being healthy

Good to hear your garden is taking shape and also that its low maintenance for you too. So good when you get someone to do some work and they do a good job for you - if you know what I mean? Early night for me.

Hope everyone has a good sleep and a good Thursday too
