When I typed the original "nothing much happening", we were still waiting!

Now, sadly, I have my "work head" back on, as I try and figure out what impact it will have tomorrow, and what I have to do when I get into the office in the morning :o

They should start to stabilise......although markets don't generally like uncertainty, and at the moment there is still no confirmation on whether it is a coalition, or a minority government. Basically, I learned long ago that you always expect the unexpected......and of course, past performance is no guarantee of future performance and the value of your stocks and shares may go down as well as up.......and your home may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage or any other loan secured on it :D

Hypno you always have great advice, but the disclaimer was so funny!

I've just sold a few hundred Daimler AG shares and actually timed the market right. They were a "sharesave" purchase when I worked for the Fleet Management arm, but the t&c's meant I was supposed to sell them when I "left" (for that read was made redundant). I was bold and hung on until they rose by 10 euros each. I was inordinately pleased that they plunged 5 euros the day after my payment came through, hehehehe. Keep up the good work, Satchmo199 x
