Weight loss is going great Hypno.

Did DD ever get re-employed at the cafe she worked at last year?

Been confused all day at work - kept thinking it was Monday because it was our 1st day back today!!

souk, I had an M&S chicken and asparagus risotto - bit of an extravegance but yummy on a day where I am dashing about from dawn til bed!

milann, no she didn't go back.....mind you, she didn't ring them up herself to find out what was going on! So I think the longer it got the less she wanted to ring them! Bit of a confidence thing I think, or maybe each side expected the other to ring them! I don't know - she has been doing a bit of helping out at the ski club, and some dog walking and babysitting, so is quite happy, and she will be 16 soon, so can get herself something much easier then I hope. At the moment, with all the "stuff" going on, I am just happy that she is content, and settled. That's good enough for me!

Sounds good lady. Made a Chickpea Curry from one of Weez's threads and had it with some Basmati rice. It was lovely and v cheap to do of course. I bought some Whoopsied salmon the other night but when I checked my freee box today it was still unfrozen so I had to bin it as I have the FEAR about dodgy fish as my sis nearly died from some once. I have had a few issues with my little freeze box before but on the whole it's okay.

Thats a shame about the salmon, souk - but I can understand your reasons for not taking the chance.

I've got some chickpeas so am going to dig out my WW recipe for hummous over the next couple of days.....yum!!

Well done on the weight loss Hypno - and the M&S ready meal, a nice treat :T
I love hummous and used to make it often, must give it another go soon. Also, thanks for jogging my memory about the painting clothes. I have enough to outfit for a week - yet always wear the same shirt and trousers. Note to self to get rid!

Souk, that's scary about your sister. I almost ate some salmon that I had cooked the other day, but it was a day out of date by the time I came to eat it....I chickened out, too much of a risk. Now I'm glad I did.

Brilliant news on the weightloss, you are really nearly there.

I am always very wary about chicken and fish, had very nasty food poisoning off chicken once and very rarely eat it - ended up being off work for a month. I have just stuffed my face with a bacon sandwich :o

Hi everyone and a really big thank-you to you all for your kind words and advice. I am still going to work and doing the million jobs that always seem to need doing - housework, shopping etc. but some days, like today i feel soo poorly it is a huge effort and everything takes twice as long as normal. Anywhos I am back at the doctors next week and will see if I get any more prescriptions to try or whether i'll be referred which they mentioned last time. I just want to feel like myself again.

My decluttering has been going on for a good few years :o. All the advice regarding the clothing situation has been fantastic. I have got clothes in there I have had for over 10years - but I do still love and wear these and they have been well cared for so are in great condition. But with other things I think everyone has contributed some great advice - I do have items that perhaps don't really suit me as well as other items I have and also have several practical items which can be pared down to the best of these bits. *feels all motivated* :D

Will be trying stuff on this weekend and will let you all know how I get on.

Hypno - pleased the progress on your garden / house front is going so well and a big well done on your weightloss.

Hypno is there any chance you could post a link to the recipe for hummous? As this sounds like it will be a great low fat snack.

Am off to bed now - hope everyone has a good nights sleep and a good day tomorrow - almost the weekend.
