It definitely feels chilly here too - A perfect excuse to snuggle up with the fleecy blankets this evening!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Am home after a nice early finish, so I feel as though I have some of my weekend back! I'm still intending on having a bit of a clearout tomorrow so am starting to think about where the heck I shall start......do I do one room at a time, and plan it, or do I just do what I feel like doing on a dot to dot basis and hope it all comes together by the end of the day? Hmm, not sure.....think I want to do one room at a time so it feels as though I actually achieve something each time a room is finished. Oh the dilemmas :rotfl:
I've borrowed the carpet cleaner from my mum, so I hope to get the lounge and hall carpets washed too......I am full of ambition which is a little scary :eek:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I have that feeling too! Think it's knowing there is a bit of "space" this weekend. The black cloud isn't looming today, which creates a feeling of lightness and positivity (man
).
Sorry, went a bit hippyfied there for a minute
Anyway, hope you get loads done tomorrow.0 -

:T Very good. I've made and eaten a roast dinner and feel very content. Decided against a pudding in sainsburys, so little DD collapsed in floods of tears at the news there was no jam sponge and custard! (don't know where that idea came from).
So her big soft Dad, has gone out to try and buy some for her!!! (and hopefully for me)

ooh, roast dinner - yum! That's something we don't do often enough.....I should address that one I think because I do love them!
(I love the jam sponge idea even more though!)
I'm having salmon today.....am determined to stay in control. Then after dinner, I will carry on with the washing and ironing marathon! If I can get that all done this evening I will be happy, and nicely set up for tomorrow!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Yes I had salmon as I don't eat meat. No jam sponge, so DD is currently lying on the floor sobbing. Poor little hard done by child.
I fancy a bit of Come Dine with Me, but think it'll have to be Bedknobs and Broomsticks to placate the kids. (Snooze time for me then)

Our machine flooded today. The washer and dryer are in the cellar (together with boxes and boxes of DH's stuff that he "needs" (but hasn't looked at in years ). He was very upset that some of the boxes got wet, so I'm hoping that they may make their way to the bin any day now0
