Afternoon all - managed to get an early finish today, which is always welcome because it means I can collapse on the sofa and watch Saturday evening telly, and use very little brain, before another early start tomorrow to do it all again.....
We've kept the spends low, which is good too, and the rain stayed away, apart from just a few brief showers, so all in all a reasonable day.
We're all shattered though!

We had your rain. I had to use the windscreen wipers on mega-fast coming over the motorway - it felt like hail!
Glad you had a good day and Happy Weekend to you too Beanie0 -
The rain forecast hasn't arrived yet so dh managed to cut the grass.
I couldn't live 7 miles from a shop - was it Turfy that said that - I can stand on my doorstep and see the Morrisons sign - a great corner shop LOL about a 3 minute walk. But within an hour by car or train I can be in the hills of Derbyshire and then the bustle of Manchester is less than 1/2 hours ride too in opposite direction. Love the location I live in but would like a bigger house that isn't overlooked like we are and a bigger bathroom would be good - quite happy with the rest of the house now - just as well as I can't afford to move from here.
DD and DS are both here at today - I wonder how we managed to live in this house when they were younger - and I've had an extension done since they left. Just the 2 of us fill the space very easily now - we've just spread into the space they used to take LOL.
Sounds like you are having a good weekend at the ski-club Hypno

I think that however much space we have, we soon find a way to fill it!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

I'd like a conservatory, but the suns at the front, not the back where it could go on to the garden
DH joined scratchies and bp today - told his boss yesterday that he either goes to a 3 day week or leaves  Last week a customer tried to fight him, and DH had enough - he's a quiet soul really.0 -
Ooh pippa, that doesn't sound good re OH work - I hope things get resolved soon!
I am starvin Marvin right now but having eaten all my points already today I am scuppered. I am roasting some veggies in the oven so that I can eat some now and have some with cous cous for tomorrow's lunch at the club....both healthy and MSE.
Would prefer chocolate though!! I will be good. I am in control. I will be good. I am in control......hmm, how many times do you think I have to say it before I believe it!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes.
