oh, and at lunchtime I found myself in a hair salon making an appointment for a cut and colour at the weekend  Not my usual turn up and pay £10 and take pot luck place, but a proper place that is going to be so expensive they didn't even have the prices on display and I am booked in with the top guy :eek::eek:

Careful with neck and basin, pet... I either get the hair washer with the touch of a butterfly or the touch of a navvy:rotfl:
    however much I pay:rotfl:

The neck is so much better than it was yesterday - I def think I am over the worst of it, and by Saturday, I should be ready for the basin and it's keeper! It is sideways movements that hurt most, rather than back-and-forth, but yesterday I could only turn my head to the right a very few degrees, whereas today (although not able to look right over my shoulder yet) I can certainly turn it a good 90 degrees without too much pain which is a huge improvement.

I just hope they have decent coffee and a good selection of magazines!

That's normally the case for me too, SF, that I cannot afford or justify that sort of expense. But, something today took me into that salon and I decided to run with it......I'll worry about the cost later, which is not something I normally do!
