Glad to hear that the neck is easing, did you have a bag of frozen peas draped round it to help bring the bruising out, or are you an arnica ointment sorta girl? I remember the smell of tincture of arnica from when I was a child, always doused in it to bring out bruising:D
Meanwhile, can I suggest this acronym to everybody in case of further injuries: RICE which stands for rest, ice, compress, elevate. A bag of cheap frozen peas is great for some bits of the body as it "drapes" over knees, ankles, necks, shoulders.... kinda like a wheat bag if you separate the peas!‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

The neck is certainly much better than it was this time yesterday,.......so fingers crossed for continued improvement.
Shortbird - I have been taking plenty of arnica. I don't like the cold so although I had an icepack immediately after the fall, I really find it yuk!! Give me heat any day!

oh, and at lunchtime I found myself in a hair salon making an appointment for a cut and colour at the weekend :eek: Not my usual turn up and pay £10 and take pot luck place, but a proper place that is going to be so expensive they didn't even have the prices on display and I am booked in with the top guy :eek::eek::eek:
