    Thank you.

Maybe I am not supposed to know. Maybe he doesn't know himself what the answers are, so can't tell me. Maybe I don't want to know. But then maybe I need to know so I can address anything that I can/need to change about myself.

Where's that bloody shrugging shoulders smiley when you need it!!

Maybe he doesn't know, that's true. But you don't need to change anything, you're lovely just the way you are x

Well, I have done next to nothing today. I'm off the caffeine, so am a bit tired. I could also murder something chocolatey, but have decided to get back in control today, rather than use my being at home as another excuse to eat badly!

    *hugs*

Don't try to give up everything at once, it rarely works & feels horrible

Thanks for the TM Lewin feedback but no joy for me; went in today & was sadly disappointed with the cut of the jackets, the feel of the trousers & the absence of any customer service!

Will try trusty ol' M&S instead :D

Ah well, will have saved you a fortune then Honeybear!

And I'm still having carbs so not completely giving everything up in one go.....that'll happen in due course.

(could still happily scoff a bar of Green & Blacks though!)

    Y'know what, that's exactly what I thought! :D

Enjoy your carbs & make sure you're being nice to yourself in other ways :)

    Hypno,

Why not try the 80 to 95% choc instead, you need less to get the chocolate taste/fix :) I've found now that I've lost the taste for the sweeter milk chocolate, it has taken a while admittedly.

Now a treat is finishing a meal with an espresso and a square of nice dark chocolate or an amandine.

I obviously have no idea why your OH left so I have no real right to even comment but just wanted to add that sometimes relationships end for no other reason that it has come to the end of the road with no road or direction in sight and sometimes one half of the couple or even both no longer have the fight, strength or inclination to start digging a road to be able to move forward so they side step and just drift into a new direction sometimes hurting people in the process. The problem here is that one half of the couple was willing to either stay stood still at the end of that road or to start digging a new road so they/you have been left to find the strength/will while feeling probably weak and bruised and hurt to start digging alone when they are used to having a side kick to help them along.

What I am trying to say in a long winded way is that until you have 'proff' you did something wrong please try not to assume there is something 'wrong' or needs changing as it may not be something you actually did/do it may be the 'end of the road' and the fight has gone out of him because lets face it after 25 years there are many times when we have to 'fight' to keep the relationship going/strong.

    Take care x
