I eat when I'm bored, too. I'm the world's worst grazer. If I can stick to 3 meals a day, I'm fine. I need to do something about it as well. Please call me 'Pickle'

My problems with food are:
- I eat when I am stressed
- I don't eat at regular times
- I am badly organised
- I like chocolate very much
Hopefully, as things settle down, I will be less stressed. If I can continue running, this will help, as will the sleep thing.
As for liking chocolate - I am doomed :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Well done Hypno :T:T:T
Thanks. I just had one of those "no one is going to do it for you so get out there and shift your lazy ar5e" moments :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Sounds like a good idea to get straight into the running kit Hypno.
I do find if I get up and get straight into exercise kit it does make it happen. If I don't I get tempted to keep putting it off.
Found it worked for me in the UK rental place, got to try to stick to it when I get back. Got to get organised, so that it's ready and highly visible for when I'm half asleep in the morning!!0 -
I leave for work at 7, and I am so not a morning person, so running before work is a nice idea in principle but in reality just doesn't happen.
But of course, when I get home from work, I am tired, hungry, and find it a struggle to get motivated to go for a run.
When I was training for the marathon, I found it much easier to get out there and put the milage in, because I had a definite "can't back out" goal. I need another such big goal, really, to get me working!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Well done on the running - great head clearer!
I have a funny attitude with food, when the kids are here and we have scheduled meal times I eat ok but as they are away this week I find I am getting home and grazing and then go to bed and realise I haven't even had a meal.
