We fly back 3 weeks today. This month is actually flying by for us, as we've a lot to organise ready for getting back, and things to do here before we go.

I think I'm getting to be a sad person, I'm looking forward to having kitchen scales so I can weigh things to go on a strict calorie count for a while.

No, not sad.....before I had this week off work, I was weighing everything out to make sure I was having the right portion size for the number of points I was logging.

Before, I just estimated what a "medium size portion of pasta" was, which was undoubtedly far more than what WW consider a medium portion! No wonder I was finding it difficult to lose weight.

What I have been surprised at, is how difficult I have found it to stick to the diet when I have been at home - by the time I go back to work, it will be 12 days of no routine, plus 3 or 4 lbs back on......it has highlighted a very "weak spot" if that is the right word, or perhaps it highlights my need for structure, or perhaps it shows that I only feel the need to be in control in certain areas of my life at certain times, and that I have learned that being at home for a few days is one of those times that I can take my "controlling" head off for a bit.

Hmm....not sure, and must to some deep digging into my thoughts.....

Thank you benben! Just did it - couldn't get the big make up palette as out of stock, but still managed to get an eyeshadow shimmer cube set, which I love, plus the two tea tree products for the grand sum of £6.80 :D

Thank you very much, as always. Much appreciated :T

I'm trying to identify my trigger points too, I know if I'm bored or upset I can overeat.

It's also easier to stick to the diet, as you said when it's normal routine. I did cope in London for the 10 days, but after years in hotels a lot and eating in restaurants with OH's work, that's a different routine I'm used to, and know how to control the calories.

So the danger times for me are probably when OH is on holiday at home, or the 2 DS's are back, they like my cooking too much, and between the 3 of them someone is always hungry!!

If people are into Teatree, Holland & Barret stock a teatree soap, it's very handy if you use leisure centre showers a lot, as teatree is naturally anti-fungal, so can help to keep athletes foot at bay.

You're just in holiday mode. Everyone needs some down time and a break from the old routine. There will be plenty of time for that next week. I'm sure some of the habits have stuck, and you did do plenty of walking in London. Don't worry about it :)

Me too! I'm trying to train myself to think "Oh, I'm bored/upset - I'll paint my nails" (or something :o)
