Oh..... so not just my one?
How many frisbees have I tried.... (30 sek flat), how many other things - all "dead" within seconds which is bad but what is worse.. dog toys that break into sharp pieces (!!!)
Luckily we live near fields where there is football (37 pitches) every weekend and Zara will always find a ball (or few) on her walks and proudly carries it home to finish it off... KIds playing leave them behind when the burst but for Zara they are the best treasures.
Other than that - kong and only kong (filled in with whatever and sealed at both ends with cream cheese).
I recently bought her a water wooba kong and it lasted about 5 minutes......Unfortunately the smaller part of it (got 2 balls inside - google for image) gas got a TENNIS ball in it and that got chewed in 30 sec flat, pity as it floats (or floated) but hey....
Apart from the normal Kong - Asda sells small (tennis ball size) balls for dogs for less than £3 per pack, they are rubbery but last a while.. Tennis balls are no good at all0 -
Not sure what dogs you all have - but iv got a staffy, he's only 6 months old and he completely destroys anything he wants....(not in a bad way)
The latest toy to die was his big kong - it lasted from him being 9 weeks old, but now he has destroyed that too....
Anything stronger out thier?!0 -
Thanks for the replies.
Kong Wubba lasted all of 5 minutes before she ripped the top bit off.
I bought a rubber tyre dog toy - so far that is intact. She just loves chewing stuff.
Also those hard rubber rings (Pets at Home) and also a plastic watering can she got hold of has lasted ages!!0 -
For tennis ball lovers - get proper tennis balls - real brand name ones. They are much tougher than 'pet' ones (including Kong balls)Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

Tennis balls dont get eaten by my dog - he just peels the entire surround off and likes to try and eat that....
Iv got him a really hard rubber ball at the moment, which he likes to chase, however I dont give him opportunity to just chew it!0 -
Wilkinson's have some really hard dog balls for just over a pound. My dogs chew EVERY toy to ribbons, but the balls have survived over six months now with only a couple of teeth marks.
I also find the throw balls on ropes very good, but they eat the rope if given half a chance.
The Kongs are good, but I went off them when the younger dog was a pup and got his lower jaw stuck in the hole of the Kong.0 -
Hi
Have you tried a meat filled hoof chew from Wilkinsons (and possibly other places). Cost about 70p I think and they last for ages cos they are so hard!Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0 -
Another vote from me for Nylabones. My GSD loves them. The other toy that's lasted well has been his Indestructiball
