it would be a long bus drive to the space centre if there is a bus, but a really easy car journey, if you can drive think about hiring a car just for the day. its really easy to drive and to be honest I wouldnt go to orlando without a car as it allows you to do one of the best things............drive on the road out of orlando
a great place for the parks but there are so many nicer places in the US even just a short drive away. 0 -
Amazing, i mention that for Florida you need a car and you get loads of users all preaching about how i don't know what im talking about and how you can have just as much fun without a car etc etc...
Yet, the OP posts here as to how they can do a few things which with a car would be really really simple and no one answers her!

Not recommending them, as I have no experience of them, but a quick google search brought up THIS company. $55 per adult though, admission ticket on top.
I would try and persuade 1 of the party to drive, if possible, as you could rent a car from £20 a day and everything would be much more convenient.0 -
thanks for both your replies, but none of the party(myself included i must say) are willing to drive,
you can get a greyhound bus to titusville from orlando for $120 for 5 people,
or a private shuttle bus from your hotel to the space centre for $60 per person approx
im guessing that you will be able to get a cab from the bus stop to the space centre, and also one of the attractions covered by the Go Orlando card i have bought is the american police museum in titusville, so can see 2 attractions in the one trip out there,
thanks again, but driving isnt an option,
does anyone know the easiest way (not including driving yourself) out to Kissimmee? ta x0 -

Without getting into the whole car/no car debate - honestly i wouldn't go to Florida without a car.
I get the feeling Orlando is not like you expect, the parks are spread out miles apart and then you have attractions like KSC and Clearwater, all a good drive away. I expect people will tell you it can be done so don't let me pour rain on your bonfire, but my own personal opinion is that going to Florida without a car is severely limiting yourself and your holiday. But if you do go this board is certainly lacking any clear info on getting around on Public Transport, so please do come back here and give your tips/advice.The Summer Holiday of a Lifetime0
