Morning all
Sorry been MIA alot this week. Who would have thought that one little puppy could cause so much work and chaos!:) He is such a playful little chap but unfortunately seems to have no concept of the idea that dark=night=sleep and not playtime!!!! Consequently we are all walking around like zombies (I was making breakfast this morning with a puppy swinging round on the hem of my dressing gown and was too tired to get him off:D) Coming to work is actually easier!!! (goodness never thought I would actually look forward to work lol)
So I am sorry for any missed birthdays and celebrations and (((Hugs))) to anyone who needs them.
Diva - sorry to hear Tris is not doing too well. We have bad news here too - my DF at work who's mum was diagnosed with Hodgkins several weeks ago is now critical in Intensive Care and she has been told there is only a 10% chance of her pulling through this time and even if she does she may not be well enough to continue the chemo, so things are looking bad. DF lost her DD just over a year ago and I don't think she will cope well at all.
Right I need to get back to work, hope you all have a good day
x"Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you are up to........"
Dieting ........... is no piece of cake!!!!:D

Morning All,
Good wishes and positive vibes to all who are poorly or sad x
Feel a bit better re the money situation this morning. DH has had the posibility of a big contract on the back burner for ages and yesterday he got a call from them asking him to go in for a mee:jting . Nothing definite yet but it would be work for the next 12 months so keep your fingers crossed:D
Lots of leftovers from tea last night, meat and potato and cheese and onion pies and a Jam pasty so will be hoovered up tonight no doubt;)
DGS back today, so taking my him and DD into town. She needs a new swimming costume as she is going swimming tonight with her friend. Trying to keep busy I think which is good. I'm planning on going to aqua aerobics myself next week. Think it may help with the weight loss.
This afternoon will be food shopping for a few bits, mainly bread. Not going to do a big shop this week. There are loads of bits need eating up and lots in the freezer so will hang on until I get paid next Friday.
Beautiful sunny day here today and feeling much more positive about life in general. What a difference a day makes:DStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Morning all......................((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))) if you need one.....
A very blustery morning it is too, the bush in the front garden is swaying like a boat on the swell in the sea!!! Yesterday the wind blew our dustbin into the raod from the side of the cottage...OH managed to rescue it before anyone crashed into it.......
Friday clean, bathroom, sitting room, kitchen and boot room....although why I bother with the boot room I really do not know,,,,as soon as \I clean it its just as bad again.
The hunt for a new stove goes on, we are going down to Coldingham tomorrow to have a look at a show room with 14 different manufacturers stoves on offer. A day out, will take a picnic lunch with us, might go on to Eyemouth for a blow on the sea front.
Fish, mustard mash and green beans tonight, I made a blancmange yesterday, so we have thet to finish with some stewed spiced apple.
Off to start the cleaning..................Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
I have just remember that I have a student loan. So my debt free date of 1st April this year is actually not my debt free date. It’s so easy to forget because I only get a statement once a year, and the payments for it go straight out of my wages (before tax). It’s a lower priority though as it’s so low interest. Funny – 6 months ago I was panicking about money, but now remembering this extra debt actually holds a little excitement for me – another challenge! I may have lost the plot slightly… Hmm…
Oh well, onwards and upwards so they say! Second viewing of the house we like last night – good old Dad spotted the central heating is in need of work (ie putting in!), and some damp in one of the bedrooms. Nothing we can’t deal with but will mean if we do make an offer it’ll be a bit lower! I’ve been lurking on the Mortgage Free Wannabe board a bit lately – can’t do much until we actually know what we’re buying and how much the mortgage will be, but I’m enjoying seeing what others are getting up to.
OS today – cut lots of coupons out of my local garden centre’s magazine (that’s OS isn’t it? Must be). LO Pasta Bake for lunch. Slow Cookered Pork Casserole with sauteed potatoes for tea. Hoping to check out something like Quidco – is that the website where you get money back? Seems like a good idea to me! Need to plant some early potatoes – they’ve been chitting in our spare room for ages. Might plant my patio runner beans too – must be about time for that.
Hopefully nothing will crop up and it’ll be the first evening this week with nowhere to be – might do something romantic. Like the accounts. OK, OK, you may laugh, but at least we do them together, and it generally involves much more interaction than watching TV all evening! I live SUCH an exciting life…
Love & Hugs to all – especially MSD and Tris.

Morning peeps
lovely and sunny again this morning, i`ve been in the greenhouse since before 7 and i`ve repotted all my tomato and chilli plants, the sweetcorn is germinating too and i can see tiny bits of shots if i look carefully :j
Houndies have been walked and i`ve just had brekkie of hm pate and toast. We seem to be short on bread flour atm, i`ve put the bm for an extra loaf on the rapid setting and foun that there was only half the amount of flour left, i`ve made it up with ordinary plain flour so heres hoping it will be edible.
I have prepped tea for later, we are having hm chips with enchiladas and rattatouille which is always lovely and very tasty so looking forward to that later. Just need to sort out the kitchen now and have a quick clean around and then get ready for w*rk, i`m working until late and then doubling back early in the morning so i`ll see how i fare. I`ll have around 4 hours sleep so will be a bit zombie like :rotfl:
((((HUGS)))) for all our poorlies, hope that everyone feels better and is able to enjoy a bit of sun.
Diva - Positive vibes for Tris
Julie67 - I have my fingers crossed for your DH re the job.
Off to sort out the kitchen and water the plant.
Have a lovely day everyone.
