    :o:o

    Confession time,

Booked a hair appointment yesterday from work ... not 100% sure who it's with (that affects the price ) but I think it's the same as I usually pay so about £50

In my defense though, that's for a cut and colour and I only have it done twice a year (long hair, good condition, get free fringe trims).

    Still feel guilty though...

I've done it again, overdrawn and it's just under three weeks till payday :(

Have overpaid on the credit card I think... I really should make overpayments at the end of the month and not the beginning

13 days until car insurance is due, and another £200 to shift off the credit card, oh no... gonna have to pay some interest on it :(

ive just read the whole thread thinking of ways to help you and thinking damn i cant advise on cars as i dont drive and i dont wear contacts etc!!

but then i read your last few posts and thought HURRAH thats something i can advise on! and thats you paying 50 quid on your hair cut!!

i used to pay exactly the same sort of money even more. over 100 sometimes when i got it coloured too!

ANYWAY i rang up my local toni and guy and said i wanted to have my hair cut by a trainee and wondered if they did trainee nights.. she said they do require models and ive now got an appointment with their "most qualifed junior" (obviously they are watched over!) but its going to cost me 15 quid!!!! makes a change to about 50!

anyway, maybe its worth giving a few salons near you calls to see if they require models or have trainee nights to cut that cost down? aparently one salon near me used to be free up until recently!!! doh!

(i got the tip from the show spendaholics!! :D )

This was for a colour and cut - with discount

Unfortunately, I've had serious problems with juniors in the past and it's sort of put me off.

I only do it twice a year so it works out £10 a month. Which will do for now or I might go back to getting my cousin to do it as she's qualified (but got a teeny tot at the moment and another one on the way so don't want to bother her) :)

Perm wasn't nuetralised and therefore went flat once washed, streaks done through a cap with bleach - whole head went bright white, mis-matched colour chart and dyed my hair bright pink!

Cuts, they are fine. The problem was with those I mentioned was lacking supervision. I wish I'd had the guts to speak up and say, watch this person.

Got another £20 tracked for Quidco, via Cyberslots, didn't cost me a penny so there's £20 profit towards my Goals for the week - £80 to shift from CC

    Car Insurance -
Paying for on mum's lowest APR card and then moving to my life of balance card (3.95%) ASAP as this is the current best option.
I don't want to apply for another 0% card as I might need it more in six months time - depends how quickly I can shift the last £600 I owe on mum's cards.
Fingers crossed for a good deal!

Got it from Pru instead of PO

    Was £416 instead of £461 AND I got £100 back instead of £50 :money: :j :j :j :j

Just waiting for Quidco to track it :D

Got paid on Friday, and got a mini payrise, but hey it all adds up right :D

Car is being serviced today to the tune of £350 approx, so £70 will be paid off with my ISA and the rest will go on Egg to be moved asap.

Got £25 from Quidco this month to clear soon, which will help too.
