hey gemmzie sorry just noticed your thread ..brilliant news for doing it it is kinda cathartic ..although to be truthfull i get fed up with mine ..i feel like all i'm doing is moaning...enough of me ...WELL DONE ON PASSING YOUR TEST..it is a great feeling passing and i have to admit one of the best things that ever happened to me ..i love driving ..keep up the diary ..i'll try and read it as often as possible...all the best

HELP!!!!!!!!!

Still having major problems with Avon, declined order and now I can't get the items for my Nan until 13th Sep and I need them for 9th, will ring in the morning but ARGH.

Any other members here who would know if there's a way to get the items quicker?

Got paid today, but underpaid by alot (11 hours) so going to chase it up tomorrow but am guessing it'll be put on next months :mad:
So hoping quidco pays out soon because I really need some extra money to pay off my cc.

Question - car insurance = £461 from Post Office (£16.50 back from Quidco, £50 back from post office).
Do I put in on one of mum's card and move it to mine - got life of balance 4.95%
Or pay for it on mine - 0% until Feb
Or pay for it monthly (which I think works out a little more)

Insist on being paid. Being paid monthly in arrears is contractual. Two monthly in arrears is not in your contract.

I was paid my basic wage, plus one day's sick which should have been paid last month but an error was made.

But none of my over-time


I thought finally having a Personnel Manager would stop all this :mad:

Well, you're going to have to find out where it went. They'll do at least a weekly cheque run. Make sure your name is on it.

They do T&A sheet which we sign weekly, overtime is paid in different weeks to our normal pay but I should have had half of it.

The only thing they do is sack people - payroll is beneath them. If on the other hand, they sack the incompetant payroll clerk, then things might improve... :cool:

Oh, our personnel manager is brand new this month (before that the Deputy Manager did a !!!!-up job) - is between staff and management and deals with pay and holiday.
Perhaps they have given her the wrong job title
