    Oh pants,

My chosen uniform went £9 over my limit which isn't allowed so I had to pay £11.25 for the extra top :(

However, am sorted for the next twelve weeks now. So, am putting a strangle on myself - no more clothes / shoes etc unless they are necessary.
Then CB goes straight to credit card :)

Oh, also got a quote for this year's car insurance (due end of October) and it's £200 less than last year.

Just need to find £460 quid by then  - get £50 back from PO and another £16.50 from Quidco so only spending out £393.50

    [ rant ]

Brother has spent £40 on a second hand phone - beaten to hell, piece of junk. Around £30 on ebay

And that person who's £13k in debt at two months of being 18 - I need a simple loan of £8k which I can more than afford the monthly repayments on and know I'll be refused because of low income and this person has NO income

    ............ [ / rant ]

    And calm...

Not really DFW...well slightly... but I got my AS results today

D in Law, B in English Lit/Lang and Psychology and an A in Film Studies

    :j :j

So, DFW bit... only two re-takes (to get Psychology to an A) so £28 to spend out in September. No Film or English re-takes, woohoo

    Thanks :)

Has anyone got any experience of haggling with CC companies? 0% period is ending in October (mum's card, my debt) but I know neither of us will get a new card, so is it worth phoning the current other companies that she has empty cards with and asking if they'll do a BT offer?

    *bump* :)

Bad news today - microwave died, so father has once again, stuck it on CC which he refuses to move to my low BT card because "the interest isn't that much" Men!

If only you were up north.. I have spare microwave in the attic(stopped using it years ago as I suspect they are powered by dark spirits..)

Promise you're using it for old style cooking and not ready meals??

But yes, I cook everything from stratch :) Am especially fond of ... "hmm whats in the cupboard that I can throw in this saucepan with a tin of tomatoes/yogurt"

    Any tips on post #27?
