So do you still pay a fee when and if the item sells- just not the fee to put it on at a starting price then?:silenced:They Were Up In Arms wrote: »I think tabskitten is a crying, walking, sleeping, talking, living troll :cool:0

Yeah, it's only the insertion fee that you save, everything else is the same.tabskitten wrote: »So do you still pay a fee when and if the item sells- just not the fee to put it on at a starting price then?
If they ever did a free final value fee day I think ebay would explode with the amount of listings.
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

can u use turbo lister this time? i cant see any exclusion but want to check. thanks0

I missed this earlier as I was busy listing on ebay, Grrrr, several pricey starting items as well. Oh well, never mind. Get more on over the weekend.0

Is it wrong to hope that on one of the free lisitng days, the Ts+Cs say that only 1 day listings apply

Might stop people listing hundreds of pointless items just because they can if they get stuck with the fees a couple of weeks down the line.Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.

Anyone using this free listing weekend ought to consider recalculating their postal costs to take into account the new rates from 6th April. 10 day listings started on Sunday for instance will finish on Wednesday 31st . If they pay Wednesday night you are fine as you can post Thursday, but if not there is no post on the Friday so you will either have to post on Saturday morning as I assume post offices will be open, or wait until after the bank holiday on Tuesday 6th when the new rates apply.
Even if you end before Wednesday 31st and people take three or four days to pay the two bank holidays still mean you could well be posting with the new rates.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. !!!!!! I was going to list stuff on my Private account this weekend. Will have to wait till next weekend then so it doesn't get caught up in all the Tosh on Free listings and I get rubbish prices.
Can't believe ebay has a house who lives there? Maybe that explains why the CS don't have a clue they don't live in the real world:D
I just list loads of items at ridiculously high prices and see what sells. It aint going to cost me anything and anything that sells is a bonus.
Sold 5 items last free listing that usually fail to sell at lower prices.0 -
It looks like Turbo adverts should be free - there's nothing that says they are excluded this time0
