finally reworked but budget for the next 2 months nd weirdly it has lifted my spirits. so if I have half of my monthly spending money for 2 months I'll stay on track (half of nothing it seems to me
). How much do you all have for pocket money" while I've been trying to clear my debts I've allowed myself £100 which seems so little to me! so now the challenge is £50 for non-essentials for 2 months - is it possible???
We always recycle wrapping paper there's a real art to just taking the sellotape off just so

Erm just bits really. This month have bought a couple of dresses for work/homen (£16) and a pair of work shoes (£7), (what I mean is they will do for both) this month from ebay, (maybe one of u girls on here
), just bought my mil a stone trough off ebay (£10.51) but I will need to drive to collect so that will be additional petrol, she is disabled has ms, before she became ill she was really into her garden so am making a trough with some hardy plants which won't need watering very often and I can pop round and do it every couple of weeks. I went to London to stay with a friend a couple of weeks ago and, so that was additional petrol than I account for (£10), we went to see a band (didn't pay to get in but did drinks and travel card) (£20) plus food for the weekend not ms (£12), went out with oh on tues to see a comedy night tickets (£5 although I did spend £7 on 2 drinks couldn't use free drink voucer till next visit). Bought some seeds, potatoes, soil from wilkinson the other day (£7.48) but debating whether to take from household account as is for the house. That's it a few pounds in my purse.... Total £94.35
I can clearly see that Ididn't need to spend all of this but it does seem that its all about going without, nd life is for living! me nd my oh try t go out on a "date" once a week but usually only spend about £5 each on this. Obviously clothes, weekends going out, extra petrol are off the adgena for a while...DF as at 30/12/16

Cool I just wondered -
what a great idea......................and life is certainly for living!
I have a splurge when on the mainland - and often get sucked into ebay (my purple plates come to mind
) my big downfall is books - um lots of books - and garden stuff
I don't get any pocket money *SNIFF* I must have a word with myself
Just taxed car - ergh - did a whole year and saved £15 or something and didnt use CC so didn't have the £2.50 charge - I just feel skint
I have just realised your pocket money is my 'miscellaneous budget'
that's a nice budget

i have a voucher that they sent my mum ( sent her 3 weeks worth) of £8 off if you spend £40 mum is away for 2 of the weeks so gave them to me!! yey! I have to go to a tesco i don't usually visit but its not too much further in the car - certainly not anywhere near £8 further anyway! Have been telling myself this week that just because I have a voucher doesn't mean i have to go and spend £40 but then also been having the - I shoudl buy things i'm going to have to buy later anyway and get the money off - cat food was one of them so my mind is made up - I do need to go and spend £40 and get my £8 off. I aslo have £13 of vouchers jsut come through so if i calculate it right I could spend less than £20 !! yey! I will be finding those felix pouches!!
The lady in the bank said today - 'goodness you are doing well paying off your loan - you're in here everyweek - isn't it coming down nicely!! ' I don't know why but I felt really pleased and it made my day!Baby due 4th May 2013

Uh it's nice when someone notices, isn't it? When I was in work today someone said "You always bring your lunch with you. You're really good at it. I always spend a fortune at lunch time..." I did smile at that because a few months ago I was spending about £10 or £20 a week shopping on my lunch breaks!0
