    Afternoon all!
Seems we're all keeping fairly well?
I'm still tired but plodding on.

    Todays' little list is...
    • Breakfast at home
    • LSD - just milk and cheese (OH has bought milk too -poo)
    • Tea from stores - tuna pasta bake
    • Walked dog for free exercise
    • Stay in and watch the soaps
    • Did a sneaky white lie to school I've applied for a job at - told them I had another interview coming so needed to know if I'm on their shortlist - they were really nice and will let me know by the morning
    • Had £5 in Clubcard vouchers - not sure why but I'm not sending them back!
    • Checked banks - will be tight but will hopefully make it to payday (just)
That's it for today - off to flop in front of the telly with a glass of wine.
    xx

Hey fayjmck - 14 hours extra..thats only 2 working days a week..surely you can fit it in..there are 9 days to a week aren't there;)

Bizarre how the more you do the more that you seem to get asked to fit in isn't it??!

Well done to all those gardeners out there - am planning a big allotment day and doing some planting of veggie and herb seeds this weekend. But it'll need to be dry even if its cold as we have quite a lot of clay and bramble roots..uggh. Hope I am not too late to chit my potatoes!:p

Just cooking a slightly weird meal..but its all from the fridge...:T

Catmiaow you've almost done a month Debt free - do you feel like you have a spring in your step?

Thanks for reminding me to put the rubbish out!

Just tried to get the CC deal for hte easter things and I can't get it in my area - pah - some internet deal that is!

I am so careful with money now, which is why I was able to pay it off so much earlier - I will save if I want something and plan more, I don't want any debt other than a mortgage ever again. :j
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T
  • Hi everyone, posting from work.... :o

Excellent milly re the assignment, I remember the feeling well, and not with fond memories! I hated essays but enjoyed exams, weird I know and most ppl are the other way, hope its not like that for you!

Fayjmck - what a list, that sounds like a full time job!!!

Traingle, excellent news re losing almost a stone :j! Such a good feeling... Depsite dieting and exersising I still haven't lost anything I'm afraid its going to start affecting my will power...

Feeling really fed up today. I got an email from my insurers yesterday that said a week after purchasing my insurance they have increased my premium by £90. Initially I told them about the accident I had, when I received the paperwork it said that I hit an cyclist so I emailed to say there were no other cars involved and now I have an additional expense

    today I WILL:
    • Call insurers and try to get out of additional premium they are investigating but looks unlikely that the additional premium is going to be dropped
    • call beauty salon :( - received call from manager they have offered to extend the credit for another year  tried to explain that becuase of their schedule and mine I was unable to come so would prefer a refund. She will speak to her manager but again looks unlikely
    • surveys (had £3.60 yest :rotfl:) £1.05
    • Am driving at 60 instead of 70 to see if it makes a difference over a week can't see much difference at this point will reserve judgement...
    • re-do budget if I can't get out of the additional premium to see where that will come from planning to do shortly
    • go to the gym! Didn't go yesterday as was so tired after work no
    • Collect tools for florring after gym no
    • tea from freezer, hm lunch done
On a brighter note am no longer in the dog house

Have a great day everyone x

motivation very low right now, had to hold myself back from getting a takeaway, let's hope tomorrow is bighter :(

Cleosmum and Rachel - Tesco have sent out clubcard points collected so far this quarter so that people can use them in time for Easter. How kind.

Nice to see you Dawn ( and everyone else of course!)and sorry about the job and your DD picasso.

Busy day today, lots of money going out but all in a mindful manner:

    1) Worked 6 hours
    2) Got a free bottle of Comfort from Wilkinson
    3) Entered codes on Flake and Cokezone. ( I now have an ASOS £5 off £20 voucher I won't use - PM me if you can)
    4) Hand delivered a friend's bday present. Bought via the Book People and wrapped in 'recycled' paper.
    5) Checked banking, quidco, did SC etc. Won £5 on SC! Cashed in my winnings to pay off a CC.
    6) Took B's glasses to be repaired and was not charged.
    7) Paid expenses into bank.
    8) Got a quote for my car insurance renewal and got paid £1.50 via Quidco.:money: I think I have found a great deal but will shop around a little more just in case.
    9) Bought a lovely Monsoon top for me and some jeans for B in the PDSA shop. I got told off by the man behind the counter for calling it a charity shop. Apparently it is a 'retail shop that supports a charity'. So there. :p
    10) Advertised some items on Netmums.
    11) Received my clubcard vouchers - £10 / 40 in deals. Will save them for my summer holiday.
    12) Replaced my brake light - just £1.29 for 2 from Wilkinson.

Hope everyone has a good evening, L x

I hope the fridge meal is OK
Chit potatoes on a sunny windowsill theres still plenty of time

The job -- oddly enough is to work on a greenbox scheme in charge of the growing and helping with teaching people about growing things etc - I'd love to do it - but I just don't know how I'd fit it in - if it were evenings/weekends then I might manage but I think its between 9-5 mon/fri

Finding more out though. Problem is - being a job share - the post will come up next year and the lady who wants to share it - wants the whole job next year - but next year I will ALSO be looking for a job - so we might end up both wanting the job f/t
    IYSWIM

Anyway I just cant manage it ???? Off for another think

he he he so ms, you are my inspiration! must recyle wrapping paper from now on. esp over the new 2 months...

finally reworked but budget for the next 2 months nd weirdly it has lifted my spirits. so if I have half of my monthly spending money for 2 months I'll stay on track (half of nothing it seems to me :(). How much do you all have for pocket money" while I've been trying to clear my debts I've allowed myself £100 which seems so little to me! so now the challenge is £50 for non-essentials for 2 months - is it possible??? :(
