I had prescription sunglasses, cost me over £100 and I knocked them off my table while I was sunbathing and scratched the lens. All I could do that time was to pay to have the scratched lens replaced, another £30!

i wear glasses all teh time, i have a pair of £18 frames, i drop them, sit on them, fall asleep wearing them (then sleep on them!), etc. etc. and theyre still going strong, i reckon your sun glasses were uber-flimsy!:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -
£12 is a lot more than I've ever paid for sunglasses but if I had payed that for such a flimsy pair I'd certainlybe taking them back. You were only using them in the same way that most people do - so in my eyes that makes them unfit for their purpose. Sorry about the smilie...I couldn't resist.0
