Some people have a nerve....there is no money saving aspect to this at all.
More a 'don't be so clumsy'. I really hate people that name a company when it is actually the individual posting to blame.0 -

I say take them back. Nothing lost if they say sorry no. I doubt they will.0

There's no way I'd have the nerve to take back the glasses under this scenario. I'd feel stupid of my own clumsiness and move on.DFW Nerd 0350

i have not taken them back although I am disappointed byy how flimsy they were.My last pair were shoved in my handbag etc and were very durable. Oh well. BUT I have bought some glass glue from Wilkinsons so I am gonna try it,Nothing lost if itdoesn't work.0

I'd have to agree that they should really withstand a fall, you didn't actually hurl them at the ground did you?
I have normal glasses and sunglasses which I have dropped (and sat on!!) and aside from the sat on pair being a little wonky they did not break.
Give it a go - you didn't say which bit has broken?
Putting my neck on the block here but I've been on the forum earlier today and noticed there are a lot of angry people out there. Is it just that email is impersonal that makes it sound harsher than it's meant? Some replies seem really aggressive today - is it heat withdrawal or the need for the weekend maybe?0 -
I would take them back, they are not decent and debs should be ashamed to sell them IMO

it was the lense that fell apart and it was the bit that the nose piece was attached to, so the whole thing was broken. HOWEVER the glass glue worked. Horaay. So well done Wikinsons for great glass glue at a v good price of 99p0

you will never guess. I didn't take the glasses back as I decided it must have been me being too rough with them. SOooooo I bought a second identical pair and they broke in exactly the same spot when they were in my hnagbag. I heard it. And no there was nothing heavy in there I put the bag in my shoulder ( sounds far fetched but that was all I did) and I heard them. So I have worte to Debs this time saying they are not v durable and if they are so dleicate why is the case provided only a clth bag, and why is there nothing on the glasses saying VVVVVVVVVV fragile. I ahve bought some more from Boots and they have been fine.0
