hiya
welcome crompton,
im going to be having a dig around my house too! im 18 so i have alot of old toys and stuff that i want to get rid off, and hopefully make some money back!!:p
remember any money u make(minus the fees) is a profit, it only may be a pound or 2 but at the end of the day it all adds up (thats what im thinking anyway!)
just remember what we have all been saying - make up some sort of spreadsheet to calculate you total earnings and expenditures!
Good Luck

If you do sell your Sim Cards make a note of the sim card number and seller as another poster on here got a call from Mr Plod as the person they sold it to was doing naughty things with it.
Just a warning.0 -
ive got a few free sim cards too! but...... there are tons of them already on ebay, so i dont think that it is worth it, because they probably wont sell! ive sold one ebook before but again theres quite alot on there already! im trying to find things that are not seen very often on ebay!
if you do put your sims on there, let us know how you do!

If you are trying to get a quick turnover to start off your pot then look at unusual items. Did you have any hobbies, or collections as a child? If so check out if cards/toys/games sell on ebay. Steer away from the obvious items and rummage in the back of cupboards and under the bed for long forgotten 'nostalgia' items.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Agreed with soolin,
Dont be a sheep, dont sell what everyone else sells at it becomes a price war and you will not make profit trying to undercut big ebay stores.
USe the pulse to see what searches are hot etc. Try to get itmes relating to the big sellers.
Check to see what people want in the "want it now" section.
Research stuff, use wholsalers websites if required.
