Hugs to you. Just try and ride the storm by having a rant here. Everyone's behind you and will give great practical advise if needed. I would just second the advise above to give yourself something nice to aim for. I am a hard core saver, but also have a lot of stresses in my life. Having something to look forward to (even if its a cheap treat) does keep me going through them.

    thanks

I think the main problem with this smear thing is that Ive had such bad pelvic pain and theyve never been able to tell me why. Looks like Ive got the answer :( I know the procedures probably OK but its the results im worried about
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Lynz, really sorry you're having a rotten time :( thinking of you & hope things improve for you very soon.
Hun, try not to worry about the tests, I'm another one having the laser treatment in a couple of weeks time, I can scan the leaflet I got from the hospital that tells you what they will do to investigate if you like, just let me know & I will send it off tonight to you (ds is being a bit of a handful at the mo! so sorry this is a bit rushed!)

  • Hey Lynz,

Oh sweets - I really don't know what to say - I'm so sorry to hear that things aren't picking up for you.

Do you think you and OH could go and stay with your folks and you could just be looked after for a couple of days. It would do you really good to have some mum and dad care - home cooked meals (not by you!) and cups of tea on tap. Don't take this the wrong way - but stay away from the computer as well - a couple of days break will do you good.

Please let me know by PM if there is ANYTHING I can do to help - you know I'll do it.

Lynz i am so sorry to hear about all your bad news:grouphug:

As they say things always seem to come at once be it good or bad.

I know the money/job side of things is tough and frustrating but sometimes these step backs are unavoidable so hang in there.

As for the health issues i am sending a little positive hug your way and i hope your OH dad and yourself are feeling alot better soon. As others have said try not to worry to much (hard i know) reserve your energy and take care of yourself as best as you can.

We are all here for you and i hope that helps alittle.

Lynz, I'm so sorry to hear that more and more things are being added to your mountain of stuff labelled 'to cope with'. The feeling of stress that I get just from reading your posts, well it can't be a tenth of what its actually like for you, (((hugs))) dear x

Please, do try and do whatever you can to take care of yourself, minimise your stress and be looked after if at all possible! I'm with Scottish on this one, if there's anything I can do, anything at all, just let me know.

    Take care xxx

:grouphug: Sorry to read your thread Lynz...you always seem to be a tower of strength to all the other DFW's, it's our turn to support you now.

I can't say anything to ease the situation...but things do get better. It may take a while, and it may get a bit worse, but eventually that light at the end of that long tunnel will get brighter. I know because i've been through that tunnel..and someone just has bricked it up a bit coz my brother just lost his job :(

Just to make you smile.... ..this is me after going to the dentist for a check-up & coming out with 2 fillings..1 on each side!

  • Hi Lynnz

I echo the other poster's on here and am sorry that life is **it at the moment. But it does look like you have had your three things at the moment so take care of yourself and things will work out.

I blame the weather...it really will be getting cooler over the weekend, and this time next week you will be sleeping well again and will be able to go out on long walks to get out all the frutration. Try to keep a cool head. Drink lots of iced water, flannel your face with cold water, dream of Iceland and try not to do much. You WILL get through all this, life is just a bit pants at times.

Oh by the way, very often we can cope with a few things and then one extra pushes us over the edge. I would suggest that the most important thing out of your list is that OH gets a jobs asap. It is very important when things get on top of you to FOCUS ON THE THINGS WE CAN CONTROL AND NOT THE THINGS WE CAN'T.
