Hmm funnily enough already done that....asked if I could speak to the ward manager, took me into her office & started to talk to me like a stupid person mode...soon as I started talking about care plans continuity & caldicott guidelines she looked at me & said "hmm your very well briefed" I explained i've a few years NHS experiance under my belt..she changed straight away & now? the staff cant do enough...its wrong though its a case of whoever shouts loudest at staff on the ward get treated 1st

It's disgraceful Phil, thank god you knew what you were talking about.....still shameful. Let's hope you can get them out of there on monday xxx

Hi, never posted on any of your threads before, but what a lovely little baby you have got Congratulations. Some of the things you said earlier in the thread made me choke a little, its lovely. Good luck to all three of you to becoming a lovely little family again soon, Evan is in the best place and Nicky now there treating her better is also.

Morning all...just a little mini update

Evan's on the ward now with nicky sadly still in the heated crib with U.V light on for a little longer, nicky's fell to bits to be honest they've been simply nasty & unhelpful to her again yesterday, she asked at 4pm if someone could help her to feed the little guy, the nurse looking after her said she'd get someone immediatley...at 7pm 3hrs late for his feed someone finally came, nickys really upset still with a fair few other things that happened last night so i've logged another complaint with the "shift manager" its so unfair the way she's being treated, I said last nightyou wouldnt treat ANYONE like this

I came home earlier this morning after trying to settle nicky for hours...at one point she walked out of the ward telling me she just cant do it anymore..she wouldnt go near him or touch him at all..I stayed to calm the both of them till they fell asleep....I feel so helpless with it all & dont know where to turn I came home & cried buckets myself didnt want anyone to see how i'm falling to bits...just want them both home SOON then I can care for her make sure she's not waiting hours for feeds & over 3hrs for pain killers

Sorry for the waffle last thing you need is me being like this.....
