    Have a good run Linda!

  • Pap,
Why not discuss it with us and perhaps we can lend some help or clarity or just perhaps listen?
I hate to see you so down lovely lady. x.

Aww bless you Bunny, its not overly bad. I have been having problems in work (my manager classes it as bullying) and I no longer feel there is any team remaining within our department. My manager hasn't been in for a long time and the place has been falling appart (hidden from the main managers) so I have been looking forward to him coming back. He has come back and now is being made redundant :o They are replacing him (he doesn't want the 'new' position) but some of the 'normal' staff are also being encouraged to apply :( Some I am glad to see apply but I can't help but think it will get far far worse. The worse bit is everyone in the team knew before he came back, I knew today  There are no jobs else where in the store so I need to find a new one....

The diet isn't going too well because I am running. I can't afford the diet because I am p/t and I want a hole to crawl in and wake up in July :rotfl:

However put into perspective of everyone on here I shouldn't be moaning at all:o

Then its the Financial Ombudsman then Bunny. Really easy to make a Complaint to them as they talk you through it first of all, then send you a partially completed Form to sign and retun.
Lloyds then have to answer all the FOS's Q's truthfully. They dont have a leg to stand on and they know it, they have dismissed the Complaint to themselves because they are hoping that you WILL get fed up...and give up!
PM if you need a hand. We will win.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
dont be daft Bun, its good to know its not just me being a tight !!!! with things, and i have been hoping she will have a LBM for months and months now, still showing no signs of arriving any time soon, still giving money out to the kids we cant afford for no other reason than they asked for some, still going on shopping trips as soon as she sees money in her purse

it probably doesnt help that i have managed to get 5 promotions in the last 5 years nearly doubling the wage in my first job i got when i moved south, and i have another interview for another job on the 25th of this month for another promotion which will take me to double my wage ~5 1/2 years ago, i think in some ways she just sees that i will just get another promotion and we will gain the little bit extra money we need

    oh well nearly home time
    Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

    Well hunny,
SS is not the be all and end all-you have lost massive amounts of weight and are running AND eating sensibly of course??? Have you looked at doing any of the other steps in the Cambridge program?

The way I see it is, you DO need a new job mainly because you are clearly unhappy there. Sort that, keep running and dont worry about the 'diet' at the minute-just eat PROPERLY.

There. I feel I have been sufficiently bossy for one afternoon-my job here is done...LOL

Ok Pepester-will PM. Want to get that money now from scummy Lloyds.

Pap Hun..It does sound like its a good time to move on for you. You are not the same person now as you were 6 months ago, you're more confident, happy and smiley and you deserve to get a job where they appreciate your hard work. What sort of job are you looking at applying for? We need to get your CV ship shape and get you out there and top of the list for an interview.

Don't give up and maybe now is the time to think about coming off CD and try and eat healthily and continue you your running
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Lloyds are notoriously difficult with PPI reeclaims and can keep th ball in the air for months with pointless letters!
Best just to whack them with a FOS Complaint and done with it. Sending them a copy of the FOS Complaint Form could just be enough of a kick to do something about it.........when the FOS rule in your favour you will also be awarded Compensation.

Thanks Sally, I think now is a good a time as ever. To be honest I would rather go now than in a years time be pushed. I am applying for anything :o I have already emailed off two, a receptionist and a juice bar worker. I have also applyed online for French Connection. I have another 3 to do for my local shopping centre (retail/food/coffee shops), then there is a coffee shop in town I want to apply for and then its onto the job centre and nhs jobs :rotfl: I have also heard that Mr A & Mr S is taking on shelf stakers :T

I know, I spoke to my CDC today and told her I can't afford it anymore without seeing the results so I said I would give it this week. In reality I don't think I need this week, I want off the diet. Its a big step but lets be honest I can clear my debt in two months if I am off CD, its just stupid. Its nearly a year now I have had no/very little income, its getting silly now :o
  • Hugs for everyone that needs them.

Pepe - is there room for one more at the dinner table?

Pap - big hugs (germ free). You are a lovely person and you WILL find a new job.
