I had the same thought earlier when i was trying to decide what to have in my sandwiches tomorrow, i'm about to make mini quiches using my yorkshire pudding tin, i'll make a small salad to go with it.

i find the same problem...do you have a microwave at work??? as i tend to have the previous nights tea eg, pasta, stew, salad and things like that..HTH x
I do have a microwave at work, but some people are far to lazy, it requires cleaning before use, and I refuse to keep cleaning it :mad:Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

salad boxes (i use containers from left over takeways) you can have lettuce, beetroot, coleslaw, pot salad (pots mayo spring onion red onion) picked onions, cucumber, carrot, peppers add some prawns, chicken, tuna, cheese etc
That sounds like a good idea, I may well try that.

Hi PN
Thanks for your suggestions, I do use a food flask during the winter months, although now I'm back on sandwiches, they do become boring after a while tho.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

Heya!
I know EXACTLY how you feel. I get sick of taking sarnies
I take soup, or anything you have had the night before with can be nuked (brave the microwave!!)
If not, then why not just spice up your sarnies?
Fajitas, Pittas, Submarine Rolls, French Sticks
A lad I work with recommended to me, salad... lettuce, cucumber, cherry toms and so on, then cook some Chicken Supernoodles the night before and pop them in!
Sounds gross as hell, but trust me, with some mayo its lush!!

That sounds a brilliant idea, if only I knew how to make them, oh, and is pastry fattening, as I'm trying to lose weight?Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

Started taking sausage rolls/pasties to work with me for the last few days but have gone back to the humble sandwich, asda had some large tubs of sandwich fillings for £1 so got egg mayo and chicken sweetcorn.
Is there any late night takeaways that do deliveries? A hot curry in the middle of the night is great or do your own and put it into a food flask.I hate migraines.0 -
to make 4 yorkshire pudding sized quiches i used -
2 eggs, then enough milk to fill to 1/2 pint
salt and pepper
whatever else you may have laying around lol, i had a wee bit of cheese and a few cherry toms.
pastry wise i found 2 oz of marg, and 4 oz of flour was enough.
i made double thatamount of pastry, so cooking along with the quiches is a bakewell tart:D .
Calorie wise i don't have a clue 10past6 (sorry i don't know your name). I cant imagine it's many more than a sandwich though, maybe roll the pastry extra thin hehe.

Hello Jackie

May I suggest Slimming World quiche?
The quickest and easiest is a made up packet of Batchelor's Pasta 'n' Sauce, whisk in 3 large eggs. Pour into a flan dish, pop into oven Gas 6 for about 30-40 mins.
It sets into a crustless quiche which is tasty, filling and slimming tooI let my mind wander and it never came back!0
