You should take up the pen for a living, instead of lying to your clients.
The script for the Hobbit is incomplete and they need a good fantasy writer.
Have they not made that film yet?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
Just a thought....
Wont a good %age of people selling their homes also be buyers?
So it's more like 3.21(made up) registered buyers per house.0 -

Just a thought..
Can we not put any decrease or increase down to a possibility of being true?
It is only one months data, not has good as a 1/4 and no where near as indicative as a years data.
But still a snapshot of what happened that month, and whatever happened that month can easily be wiped out or increased on the following month.
If any thing is down to weather or stamp duty it should all be rectified in the next couple of months.
I don't see the point of some disputing the figures as made up when early last year and 2008 they were a "sign of the market"0 -

I know because if roughly 1 in 7 properties sell per agent according Riona and roughly 100k sell a month then there are 700K properties on at one time. This means 2.8m mainly couples register each month so nearly the whole population within a year.
As I say it probably 250 registered at any one time.0 -

Yer, I was agreeing.
Just when I said this, I was told I didn't understand by the resident spinster.0 -
Next thought.
Where we live there are 8 agencies.... hmmm0 -
you really are struggle with the basics...
here's what you actually saidGraham_Devon wrote: »That's brilliant foresight.
Obviously everyone registered with an estate agent is chasing a property.
My mother and father were registered with an agent ove 2 years, just incase anything came up which would interest them enough to leave before they wanted to.
They were not chasing anything.
But whatever floats your boat. If you want to think that 4 people are squabbling over a property, then you feel free. Now go and tell that to the selling board.you don't understand (again) do you...
did they register once or did they register every month for the two years?
they would appear once as a new registration.......
keep it up :wall:0 -
Oh dear lord chucky. Get a grip.
As Emy has stated. If 200+ NEW registrations are coming to an agent, from new buyers each month, roughly HALF the entire population would be registering each year with agents.
The article appears to be wrongly worded.
Has it not even crossed yours and rinoa's mind that people don't just register with one agent? No. Didn't think so. Therefore, again, it's not 4 buyers chasing every house. It's most likely people registering with 3 or 4 agents.
Therefore there was nothing wrong in what I said. Reply if you like, but I won't be replying again.0 -
