Yes. The RICs report also gave a similar ratio.
RICs also reported lower stock per agent than this time last year when prices started to rise. And this year mortgages are more available ~ and cheaper.
If I'm registered with 2 EA's am I two potential buyers ?."An arrogant and self-righteous Guardian reading tvv@t".
!!!!!! is all that about?0 -

I am puzzled by this registered buyers thing.
Why do they need to register and does this mean they are just potential buyers rather than actual buyers which is not the same thing.
Is it like shops measuring footfall as opposed to paying customers?0 -

Possibly. But there again many just look around and buy without ever registering.
The important point is that stock level ratios compared with those registering remain healthy. If I don't reply to your post,
you're probably on my ignore list.0 -

But I presume there is a correlation otherwise plots with higher footfall would not be more expensive.
I presume when footfall increase so do sales, I presume that may be the case with potential buyer registration also.0 -

Possibly, but then when you buy you would be two less also:)0 -

Of course it is, its written by a desperate bull.
I notice in the article that the number of homes sold over the snowy period actually increased..... yet all the VI's were blaming the snow for the price drops in February??
As for the 4 buyers per house, its all rubbish. Do they really believe that all buyers only register with one EA. Rediculous. The wife and I saw 3 houses last week with three differesnt EAs.... we have no intentions of buying, we are just keeping an eye on what is happening at the moment. So thats three less buyers in my area.
This article reaks of desperation and spin.0 -
