    Yes, that's the impossible bit.

You have finally admitted what we have been saying all along! Well done.
actually no... you think just because your mum registered two years ago she's being included in these figures each month. that's not how it works...

I have used the data in the article. Every month each agent sells 6/7.(as per the article). It's not unreasonable to extrapolate that these will be replaced by an equal number.

So every 3 months there will be 18/21 new properties per agent.

The article also suggests that 250 potential buyers register with each agent every month. So that's 750 every 3 months.

So every 3 months there are 18/21 new properties and 750 potential buyers for each agent.
so let me get this right Rinoa - is this nonsense or isn't it nonsense.
the usual frothers seem to think that you got it completely wrong

That's not what I said. That's what you would like to think I said.

Seems I will have to translate what I said. I said that not everyone who registers is actively looking, or actively ready to buy. They may just be interested. I used my mum and dad as an example.

I suspect 95% of the people who read the forum got you. just look at the selling thread on the housing forum. You will find a few moaning about timewasters which will include your example.

seeing that your anecdotal info is always 'suspect' that 95% should really be taken with about two sacks of salt
