I didnt think you needed to pay SRM-but I could only find sites that said you did! Ar$£holes. My FIL paid for his then realised he didnt need to, grrrrr
How is BF holding up under the chemo?
Luc-yeah, things could be worse hun, but right now, this IS the worst for you and thats all that matters. End of. We have ALL felt like you do right now (for perhaps other reasons) but your feelings are just as valid as anyone else's.
WoW-sorry to hear you stubbed your toe-try shoes

I really wish I could come over right now and give you a massive hug, pass you tissues and make you endless cups of tea.
I know it feels like they 'dont want you' but they haven't MET you, only a few bits written on pieces of paper-nothing can convey YOU unless they meet you and sadly, they had (for the minute) passed up an amazing opportunity to do so.
I know now probably isnt the time to give suggestions-but maybe you sould try doing self employed like Sammy suggested? It cant be any worse than not working...and at least you would be getting back into the 'swing' of things?
Feel free to tell me to naff off...
Ah Bun - that's made me feel better, knowing someone out there wants to do that for me is a real boost. Last week has left me feeling really isolated and I felt like an outsider at group today. I know its the illness making me feel like that but it still hurts to feel peripheral.
I am seriously considering going it alone - need to look at what I need (software etc) and maybe get an ad in the paper and take it from there.
As Pap says - keep plodding..
Yes Billies the cyber hugs do help enormously:o
And Wow - :grouphug: - it makes me feel better to think I've helped someone else;):p26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

I might be about to have a hair disaster. I dyed my roots, but then put the rest of the dye on the rest of my hair too soon, so I am possibly going to have immaculate blonde roots and overdyed straw everywhere else. :rotfl:
Wigs are soooooo 2010, no?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Hahaha oh dear Snaggles!!! I've never dyed my hair, maybe I should some day!0

It could be worse yes - it's not a whole lot of consolation when you feel like you just want to hide under the duvet and cry all day though.
We wont let you give in though, you do realise that, don't you.
Have a good cry, then go and wash your face, put some mascara and lipgloss on (it makes you less likely to cry again if you know you will end up looking like something from Kung Fu Panda :rotfl:) then make a cup of coffee or tea and relax for a few minutes, take some deep breaths and think nice thoughts (about Sunday night
).
You're having a bad day, and you are going through a really difficult patch in your life, but it is only a difficult patch, and you know from previous even worse patches that it will get better, and you will be happy again.
:grouphug: I'm going to have to stop giving you dodgy hugs now or people will start to talk!
Can you get out for a little run today at all? Only a little one though, it's just to lift your spirits and bring some of your energy back. If not, find a cupboard or a hotspot to tidy. Anything that will make you feel like you have achieved something and wrenched back control of the day from the bad day gremlins.
Where would I be without you all. I'm smiling through the tera now so that's a step forward. Just put the kettle on then empty HUbbles' suitcase (yes the one from Sunday that he still hasn't sorted:mad::p) and will get out for a run when he comes home tonight.
I have my health, a lovely loving family, fabby cyber friends (you better visit me on your tour of Scotland missus) and we aren't going to lose our home while I find work... I got myself too excited when I should know better :cool:26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

I think you'd be great at working for yourself Luc, you've got a lovely way with people and I'm sure you'd soon build up plenty of clients (why does 'clients' always sound like you're implying something dodgy?! :rotfl:).. can't do any harm to give it a go can it?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

She's hanging on Bun-her Onc says she'll finish this round of chemo in April ,and she asked what's next. His reply that she should have a couple of months before she goes downhill again did not go down well. She can have another round, but apparently it loses it's efficacy....anyway,lets not dwell on that..!Debt-free...and staying that way...0

SRM you do such a fantastic job of supporting her - it sounds hellish, and it makes me so sad I can't really even bear to think about it, but she is very lucky to have you.
Luc, of course my tour of Scotland will include you silly! :T Was thinking of maybe timing it to coincide with some sort of a run if you are up for it, although you are so speedy you will have to wait in the pub for me afterwards. :rotfl:
Right, off to wash the dye out!!! "I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
