I too would prefer red & white in a way - I think its more unusual.
My kitchen is probably similar in size but also has a window on the far wall (where her cooker is, my units are a u shape at the far end- the cupboard doors I have to fit are a similar colour (maybe a tad darker).
Needless to say my kitchen is never, ever that tidy - and often also has a large black & white dog sitting in the middle of it, you know how they do, creep up behind you whilst you are cooking so that you nearly step on them when you step backwards!
Tixy - if you have a black and white floor, doggy will at least match!!
Love the colour of the walls in that kitchen, think it looks great. You don't always need a large room to get away with a colour that bright, as long as you have plenty of light (which it seems you have) bright colours can look great. Shame you can't have your red and white floor though:(

    No fighting, I think, nicca:D

Hahaha, Tixy, I can just imagine your doggy creeping up behind you. I had a visit from my neighbours dog today. Ofetn it's out in the close and if you come in, it wanders up after you and has a wee nose around your flat. I don't know it's name though so I just have to call it dog! It's a mongrel and is fab. I don't know how it keeps managing to get itself shut out (or be deliberately shut out :().
It's trying to adopt you, nicca:D

Niddy - you are on dangerous ground here. You are seriously outnumbered at the moment, be careful, we women have long memories and, boy, can we bear grudges:rotfl::rotfl:

Shucks - just accidentally thanked Niddy for post 602 :p

Now don't you go pretending you think you are in charge Niddy, you know that women rule the world as well as MSE! We just go about it quietly;)

Why has that icon only got 3limbs though? Not that it matters to us trollbusters - we are obviously the one kicking a s s.

Yoga move? ... Though more likely, the bit that looks like a mochican haircut is actually it's arm :D

Tixy, do you know the name of the colour of that paint? My kitchen doesn't get enough light, but it would be fab as a feature wall in my lodger's room (if he moves out in the future, I doubt it would be his choice of colour ;)), it gets the sun most of the day and has a lovely big window :D.

I note Niddy has not posted back to us since and can only assume he is either
    1. running very fast from his house or/
    2. Cowering in the corner behind the sofa
