Red & White, I can find lots of black and white either in sheeting or tiles but its the red that is causing the bother. Plus I'm now wondering if I should have gone for a different paint colour.
Arrggh, Tixy, have you painted the walls yet?

Nope - bought the paint but not painted yet - I was going to do it over the long holiday weekend. I'm thinking I should have sorted out for certain the colours of the worktop/flooring before I purchased the paint.
If I have to have black & white floor I'm wondering about getting shiny red worktop instead (?). Or I did see a picture online of black & white floor with red walls - but bright red walls might be a bit too 'something' icon5.gif

Maybe 3 years planning wasn't enough after all :rotfl:Must stop rushing into things. Maybe I'll leave my bathroom another 3 years before I make any decisions!!

Sometimes, Tixy, 3 years isn't even enough to plan for a kitchen.;)
What type of flooring are you looking for? If tiles, have you thought about marmoleum? I know they do tiles in lots of different colours and they do red (a friend of mine has the red tiles:cool:I've got the orange ones:cool: - I think they do white as well). Might be worth a look on their website if you haven't looked there already.

Afternoon all...doc was useless..offered me erythromycin (am allergic), an inhaler (I am not wheezy) and a chest x-ray and I have to turn up at smelly oak hospital in office hours..sigh. Anyway I have stocked up with some honey & lemon sweeties that I got from Boots along with a number I have to call to take part in a survey. When I got home I found I had received a letter from the NHS - I did wonder what it was but then found out that I am a woman of a certain age and they want me to participate in some research from now until I pop my clogs and beyond:eek: They even want to know my birthweight..I wonder what they will say at 1lb 6oz:eek:

Did a bit of shopping in Boots, the cakeshop and aldi and even treated myself to a bunch of daffs for 89p in Aldi whereas my local florist sells a small bunch for £1.50 - these huge bunches in Aldi are better value.

Tixy - I have had a thought about your floor - use white tiles and paint each alternate one red with tile paint.

Ooh! The excitement of The One Show! They named and shamed the dodgy builder!

But I do hate the presenters on the show. They do irritate me!

There's a virtual party over on Lisawaters' thread if any-one wants a slice of cake!
