Where are you staying? If it's pubs your after, I'd head for the Westend (Ashton Lane) or The Merchant City. If it's food, there's any number of places! Balbirs in the West End (Church Street, near the Western hospital) does a phenomeal curry and is next door to a pub called Gallus, which is also a good pub.

Hearts or Gers? (My stock response in Glasgow is "rugby mate"!)

Am staying in hotel near to Queens Station...... so quite central (I think).... just looking for inspiration so as not to end up sat in a wetherspoons all day!

Curry & Gallus sounds like a plan - cheers.....

I am a blue nose, I booked into Glasgow cos I thought we were at home, DOH! Lucky it is Hearts and not Aberdeen I s'pose.....

I had a good time in Glasgow at the DFW meet about 2 years ago
I think we managed 3 laps of Glasgow city centre one way system before we got out:o:D

Grump grump grump..mornid all..come on own up..who substituted my nose for a tap?:mad: Spent most of last night coughing and now I switch to being bunged up or streaming..am getting annoyed now and bored with it all especially as I need to keep my wits about me to complete the housing benefit form from the council (its that time of year again).

I photocopy the form anyway and have kept a copy of last year's so will change a few of the costings and submit it..I am supposed to send originals but I never do, I just photocopy everything and invite them to look at my books. The form was sent when I was away and I am supposed to send it back within 14 days but it will have to wait as I am ill and have the attention span of a gnat at the mo.
