What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P

My food has arrived - they subsituted a multigrain loaf - I wanted rye bread but should have guessed that they don't do them because I have never seen one in store (it is now in the freezer section of my fridge), my freezer is now full:j

Tomorrow I shall cook a brisket of beef and cook it in the leftover gravy that I froze after I cooked the last one:D I have eaten loads of fruit and salad today and watched the first half of the Wales v Italy game and then switched over and watched Nat Geo and promptly fell asleep - I have been awake for about half an hour now:eek: Having food in the house is such a novelty as the cupboard has been bare for a week - did you know that Sainsburys basics chopped toms now come in cartons and not tins?

Off to catch up and slob out - its still raining here..sigh

Yey and Scotland stopped England winning by doing the Irish (easy peasy)!

See we can beat England without even playing them - pah! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Scotland palyed a blinder of a game and diserved to win, the have been so unlucky with last min loses. They should have beaten England and us Wales.

I only support 2 teams Wales and any one playing England
A Bank is a place where they lend you an umberella in fair weather and asks for it back when it begins to rain - I hate them all

Horace - really sorry to hear about your friend, that's awful
nicca - hope the cheesecake was OK in the end, brown bits add a bit of extra taste, that's my philosophy anyway:)
Numpty - hope you've recovered from your driving licence tests:D
Nargle - hope you managed to avoid getting rustburn today

Lots of comments about England being beaten at something - was there something interesting on today that I missed?:D

 I obviously jinx them then... had way too much on today and didn't watch :(

Wheest, no, I'm not here, and no I haven't been manically cleaning after a taxi disaster for my friends :p.

Cheesecake was edible but way too heavy for me - every-one else was too polite to say so though! Rest of it was lovely, even if I do say so myself!

Morning Numpty :D (any-one like to take bets on when you'll see me kicking around at this time in the morning ever again!?)
