Good afternoon everyone, wish I could say it was blue skies and sunshine, but it isn't. Only way I will get brown today is by standing in the rain till I rust.

Nic - exploding cheesecake? I told you to go easy on the nitroglycerine you silly woman! Mind you, if it explodes then, provided it explodes evenly in all directions, everyone gets a fair share. There you go, the laws of physics as applied to cookery - don't say you don't learn anything on here!

Its raining here too and I am waiting for my shopping to be delivered..due to come between 1-2. I am feeling a little sad today too as I have had some bad news...Pash who all 4N breakfast groups were raising money for passed away on Friday aged 35 the poor girl was riddled with cancer and although I never met her felt that I came to know her through her blog and tweets...so don't get worried if I don't seem to be my normal self.

The sun is shining here in Glasgow! :eek: I'd best get out and make the most of it!

The cheese cake is salvagable... basically the tin wasn't big/high enough and it fell allover the sides... thankfully I put in inside a roasting tin so I don't have to srub the whole oven! And, as I had to use the wee oven, it has a rather brown skin... not burnt, you understand, just well done! I don't know whether to brave trying to take the skin off of just leave it as it is. It tastes good so it'll be fine. Not bad for a first attempt!
