Pleasure nicca, glad you like him:D
I sorted some books out yesterday and have got 20 to put on Green Met now - will do that this week, definitely and no more prevaricating:D
Nargle - scrap yards are great places for spare parts, fingers crossed you manage to get something sorted out £200 is a ridiculous price for a window motor:eek:The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Time was you could get a whole ruddy car for £200 (but not in recent years.) Oh well, come the General Election and regardless of who wins, I will probably be saying next week "Window motors used to be only £200!"One life - your life - live it!0

Problem is, Nargle, you're probably right there:(:(:(

There are loads around for older models but mine was one of the first with the new shape, (even though it's over 6 years old)and can I get a new window motor for less than £200?
Evening all, Hey Nargle just read your post re:- Window winder, reminds me of the joke about paddy in the desert with a car door, when asked why he was carrying it, he said if it gets to hot, I can wind the window down.
Serious now, pm me with make and model, cant promise but handymans old boys network might be able to come up with something better than £200. (does this include labour) an average DIYer can do the job, allthough its fiddly. Its a bit like painting your hallway through the letterbox.
